Well the part of the T34 blowing tanks left and right is not totaly correct. After the debacle of Stalingrad the German Hihg Commando was triyng to mount a new offensive. At that stage the german Tanks where mostly old Panzer III and IV, and the new Panthers. The problem with the German armor was simple: In the winter they did not have anti freezing liquid, and the petrol would freeze, and in the summer the engine filters would be full of dust (poor filters was always a problem for the German armour IMO).At the time of the batle of Kursk, the german had beef up their arnour with the new Tiger model (not the King tiger), Panther's and this monster, the Ferdinand (better know as "Elephant") In fact, I think many tank designs took inspiration from the T-34 design, because of it's mobility. The T-34s were probably the most mobile tank of WW2, because they could go almost anywhere and not get bogged down or break down. And the Russians still have over 90,000 T-34s left.that would probably still work with a little oil and grease. BTW, anyone ever play Close Combat 3? That was the best CC game ever made, IMO.ĮDIT: nm+, I've heard at least a little about that story. I apologize, but this was something I learned some time ago, and may not be accurate. It's also only rumored to have seen battle, since the only recorded time it was used was in a Russian parade. However, the best tank of WW2 was either the T-34 with an 85mm cannon, or the Joseph Stalin 3 (JS3).I really can't remember if that's its name, but it carried a 122mm or 152mm cannon, carried armor piercing and artillery shells, and was said to be pretty mobile.

The M1A1 and variant Abrams tanks have special systems dedicated for moving and firing.and they are basically 100% accurate in doing this.

Just as NoWayDude said, the tanks of WW2 were not good for moving and firing simultaneously.
